Seeds of Wisdom
As the weather starts to cool, especially at night, we all start thinking of spending more time indoors. Many of us feel the need to add plant life to the spaces we will be spending more time in for the next few months. Let us suggest some beautiful houseplants that based on light requirements, will be perfect to bring the outdoors in.
There are still some seasonal outdoor tasks that should be considered.
If you have deciduous fruit trees, lilacs or dogwoods, a dormant disease control with copper or sulfur mixed with horticultural oil should be applied at leaf drop. For those of you that have lawns, a last fertilizing of Scotts or Ace Winterizer will keep your lawn green through out the cold months. Cold protection for citrus and other tender plants can be accomplished by use of our frost covers and/or Cloud Cover plant protector spray. We also carry an assortment of greenhouses in sizes and prices for every budget. Come in with your questions and let us help you move into the next season with ease!
